Blest Be The Ties That Bind
Margaretta and William R. Branthoover

Branthoover quilt on display in the library this spring.
Ties used in this quilt, named Blest Be TheTies That Bind, came from former principal W.R. Branthoover, his family, friends and students representing every class he had had for thirty-five years. In the student category there are nine sets of ties worn by fathers and sons who were in his classes. The quilt, made by Margaretta M. Branthoover, was finished in December 2005 and quilted by Kathy McCarty. The quilt is made with 2059 individual necktie pieces.
A chart has been made so each donor can find just where his tie is located.
